This method is used for the removal of asbestos or material containing asbestos, whereby the risk of asbestos release is in all cases so limited that the concentration of 0.01 fibers / cm³ is not exceeded during air measurement.

Simple operations are only used for:

• bonded asbestos that is not damaged or where no free fibers are visible and where removal does not lead to a change in the condition
• seals or gaskets containing asbestos
• loose-bound asbestos-containing sheet material, asbestos board, insofar as the asbestos has been fixed and it can be easily disassembled, removed and packed without breaking or damaging the asbestos-containing materials
